I'm James Gavriilidis, Certified Online Business Manager and the person entrepreneurs call when their business is growing faster than their ability to manage it.
My background is not a straight line, and that's exactly what makes it useful to you. I spent nearly two decades in corporate leadership across Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, and the USA, managing teams, running projects, and learning the hard way that most business chaos is just a systems problem in disguise. In 2004, I built my own business from scratch. I've been running it ever since, which means I've lived everything I now help others fix.
What I actually do
I specialize in online business management: designing the operational backbone that lets a business owner stop drowning in daily tasks and start focusing on growth. That means SOPs, automations, team management frameworks, project oversight, and the kind of process architecture that turns a chaotic operation into a scalable one. I work with entrepreneurs who are good at what they do, but need someone equally good at running the machine behind it.
My credentials: certified by the International OBM Organisation, Master's in Spa Management from the University of Lausanne, PhD in Alternative Therapy, and 20+ years of practical experience in the corporate world that no degree can give you.
How I ended up here
When the pandemic hit in 2020, most business owners panicked. I got certified. The shift to remote operations, digital systems, and online-first business wasn't a crisis for me...it was confirmation that the work I'd been doing for years had a name, a methodology, and a global community behind it. I became a Certified OBM in early 2020 and haven't looked back.

Online Business Management
In early 2020, while most business owners were watching their world collapse, I was getting certified as an Online Business Manager. Not out of desperation but out of recognition. The pandemic didn't create a new reality. It just accelerated one that was already coming: remote operations, digital workflows, online-first business models. I'd been building these things for years. Now they had a name.
Here's what I know about crisis: someone's nightmare is always someone else's playground! Watching a traditional business freeze up at the idea of going online? That's not a problem for me, that's my Tuesday. Systems architecture, process automation, SOPs, team communication frameworks - this is the work I've always done. The pandemic just put a spotlight on it.
I have a particular focus on two types of clients: start-ups building their operational foundation from day one, and established businesses making the shift to hybrid or fully remote models. Both need the same thing: someone who can design the infrastructure that makes growth possible without turning the founder into a full-time firefighter.
